11 years. Wow. For quite a while there, we came together as a country. We fought terror and defied letting this act destroy our lives. Now we are fighting each other politically, blaming each other rather than taking responsibility, and spreading hate toward our opponents on Facebook in the name of free speech. We are more divided than ever. Kind of makes me wonder if this was part of the plan all along: Divide the people of the United States. Today, lets pay tribute to those who lost their lives by making an attempt to get along just a little better, to see that our neighbors who disagree with us are every bit as passionate as we are and that even though we may not see eye to eye, we all care about the future of this country. It would be nice to be in this together, if for only one day. - jc
